In the dark of this life, there is a Hope that gleams everlasting. It breaks through the constraints of darkness and pain. It bursts through cracks and permeates with living light. It conquers even the most dire situations. It is free for the accepting heart, waiting to be discovered.

This Hope, it satisfies the desires of the heart. It fills with strength. It renews. It heals. It binds up in the most loving way, as a father would bind up the wounds of his child. It protects and provides a fortress. It secures life, not death. It is what the world dreams of and grasps for, yet cannot seem to find in its own terms and in its own strength.

That Hope is available. It is here. It is tangible. It is called the “Good News” by many. But, we believe it is even better than good. It is the Best News we could ever want to share! If your life is dark and dirty, stained with the mess of this life, we want to share this Hope with you. If your life has already been changed and you are walking in newness of life, we invite you to join with us as we share this Great News to the world!

The News that we have to share should be printed on the front of every paper across the globe. The headlines should be bold, yelling, “The Best News is all about the Gospel- All about Jesus.”  So, here, on our own little version of the newspaper, we shout these words to you:

“The Best News is all about the Gospel- all about Jesus.”

                John 3:16 begins this news!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

You are LOVED! Not only are you loved, you are loved by the God of the universe, the One who created you! In His infinite love, He gave His Son, Jesus. All you have to do to live forever with Him is to believe!

Believe?!  Believe what?! The Best News is what you should believe!

Let us explain:

                Romans 5:6-8

“But God shows His love for us in that while were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

The first step in realizing the greatness of the News we bring to you is understanding that all people have sinned. Not one person on this earth is good enough for heaven. We have all fallen short. We are a broken people, needing Jesus to patch up all of the ugliness and make us whole through His sacrifice for us.

                Romans 3:23-24

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus”

And, in our sin and falling short of God’s glory, the only way we are justified (to be made innocent) is through God’s grace- His giving of His Son to redeem (buy us back) from the debt we owe because of our sin.

                Romans 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

                2 Corinthians 5:21

“For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”

God, in His gracious and merciful love, has given us FREEDOM in Jesus. If we accept His gift (His Son), He grants us eternal life with Him, forgiving our sins as far as the East is from the West. Jesus took our punishment upon the cross. He died for us. Three days later, He arose for us, conquering death, and securing eternal life for anyone who believes!

                Romans 10:9-10

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”

How do you accept this? How would anyone be deserving of such a FREE gift of eternal life? The answer: No one is deserving, but to everyone, the gift is waiting to be accepted, because of the love of God. To accept this glorious gift of salvation, one just needs to confess his sins, believe that Jesus came to save the world from their sin. He is the One who makes us righteous. He is the One who justifies. He is the ONLY One who saves!

                Psalm 40:1-3

“I waited patiently for the Lord; He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and hear and put their trust in the Lord.”

We hope and pray that the above verse can be said by YOU! We hope and pray that you can stand and proclaim that Jesus saved you out of the sinful pit of your sin, that you are on solid ground with Jesus as your foundation, and that you will be able to sing songs of praise to our God, leading many to put their trust in Him.

This is the Best News we could ever bring to you. We have been justified and freed from our sin. We, as a family, believe that Jesus is real. He heals. He binds up our wounds. He changes lives. Without Him, we would be nothing, sulking in the mucky pit of our sin, without hope! But, because of Jesus, we have hope. We can thrive, because in Jesus we have life! We want to shout it from the rooftops and reach others for Jesus. There is no other thing in this life that can compare to Him and the hope He grants!

So, would you like to get to know Jesus- the Best News?

He loves. He saves. He gives life!
